Their customer service is very unprofessional with no accountability they offer no resolution whatsoever, they just keep kicking the can down the road by asking you to call back in 7 to 10 days to check status it has been 6 weeks, multiple calls and still nothing to this day.
eBay hates its sellers and until that mindset is gone - it will never change. eBay decided it needed tight fisted control over every part of the transaction, causing cascading failures for its seller - the people who actually pay its bills. Love your sellers and not Wall Street and you will grow!

I know they do look for good candidates, as far as what specifically they are looking for, our recruiters will be able to give more specifics. Referrals are encouraged!!
One thing that is looked for is a good history of customer service. I would say the majority of people hired are referrals

Tons of fun everyday. Everyone at eBay is one big family. We laugh every day. If you're having a bad day or even an off day, there will be someone there that will cheer you up guaranteed.

I love my teammates and my other co-workers. I'm in the New Buyer program so I help people that are new to shopping on eBay.

Why not work for eBay? The coaches and Team Leaders all want to see you succeed at your job. They care so much about everyone there. It is by far the best call center I have ever worked in.
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at eBay?
Better communication with higher leadership. Work from home opportunities for my part-time shift/department. More part-time availability, so I can still grow in my career.
I wouldn't change a thing. eBay has the best culture in any call center I've ever worked in. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. We always have fun at work.
What's the work from home policy like at eBay?
Very flexible but again it may depend on team, project, role etc
It depends on the role, employee and manager. If conducive to working from home and the manager approves, employees are able to work from home. In some cases, employees are 100% remote workers. It also depends on the individual and if they are confident they can be productive at home vs. in the office.

Relaxed, 20 hours

I met with one of the team leaders. It took a day or 2 after to get the background check started

Moral is ok not very high not very low. It has seen a slight increase with recent stock increases.

What's the office layout like at eBay?
oen space
It's cube city in San Jose. In Portland, it's shared offices (single if you're high up in the chain), building out a cube city on the lower floors.

a bit of a blend - there's still a strong desire to know specific release dates
