Executive Bio
Mr. David J. Rayner serves as the Chief Financial Officer, Principal Accounting Officer and Executive Vice President at Hughes Satellite Systems Corporation. Mr. Rayner has been Chief Operating Officer of EchoStar Corp. since September 30, 2016. He has been Chief Financial Officer of EchoStar Corp. since December 3, 2012 and has been its Executive Vice President and Treasurer since December 2012. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of Tendril Networks, Inc. from 2011 to 2012 He has more than 20 years of leadership experience in the communications industry. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of EchoStar Corporation from June 17, 2010 to November 8, 2011 and also served as its Principal Accounting Officer until November 8, 2011. He served as the Chief Administrative Officer of EchoStar Corporation since the spin-off of EchoStar from DISH Network on January 1, 2008. Mr. Rayner served as Chief Financial Officer of Dish Network Corp. (formerly EchoStar Communications Corp.), from December 27, 2004 to September 2006 and served as its Executive Vice President of Installation and Service Networks, Principal Accounting Officer and Executive Vice President. Mr. Rayner served as Principal Financial Officer of DISH DBS Corporation (formerly EchoStar DBS Corp.), a subsidiary of Dish Network Corp., since December 27, 2004 and served as its Executive Vice President and Principal Accounting Officer. Mr. Rayner served as a Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of TW Telecom Inc. (Formerly Time Warner Telecom Inc.) from June 1998 to December 2004. He served as Co-Chief Financial Officer of TW Telecom Inc. from November 12, 2004 to December 3, 2004. Mr. Rayner served as Vice President of Finance of Time Warner Telecom, from February 1997 to May 1998 and served as Controller from May 1994 to February 1997. Mr. Rayner held various financial and operational management positions with Time Warner Cable, from 1982 to 1994. He started his career at Arthur Andersen & Co. He served as a Director of Terrestar Networks, Inc. and TerreStar Corporation from February 2008 to December 31, 2009. He received his bachelor's degree in Accountancy from Northern Illinois University.
