What's the office vibe like at EchoStar Corporation?
Very friendly, helpful considering people are busy with 60 hours work week with mandatory weekend work around 6 months with short break between them
Everybody minds their own business. Very little politics, much less so compared to other workplace. You are left alone, very few meetings, may be once a week and short < 30 min. People are friendly and help you if you ask for it
What are you most excited about working at EchoStar Corporation?
The collegial atmosphere. People are friendly and helpful
The work was similar to what I did at Cisco so it was an easy transition plus a nice raise to my old salary

give you a program in C with error and ask you to find them

very flexible. come and go at anytime, only a few meetings per year so you don't need to show up at particular time as long as you do your work

Very poor - the company is essentially dead
