Usually a phone interview and then a phone tech screen, then we'll bring you into the office for an in-person interview. What part of Education.com's business is growing fastest? What part is having difficulties?
Top Employee Response
We are growing astronomically! There are a lot of amazing avenues we can go down, and leadership is doing a great job choosing what we should focus on. The only difficulty is we need more engineers because there are lots of amazing projects in the pipeline!
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at Education.com?
It has a great culture already! I don't have any suggestions to improve- the leadership is transparent and always open to suggestions, and everyone is approachable. It's easy to get along with people here and it feels like a big family. Really great place to work!
What are your coworkers at Education.com like?
Everyone at education.com is amazing! It's a startup, but it's not high stress. People really care about what they're doing and that's what drives the success of the company. We all eat lunch together, and there are lots of company events and weekly things like in-office meditation and yoga. Even when people leave the company they are treated like family and we usually have an event to celebrate the work they've done. I think that says a lot about the company and the respect people here have for each other. The CTO is careful to make sure that new engineers are good at coding but also a good culture fit, so it feels like a really great curated team and everyone is great to work with. I hope that helps!
