What does the leadership team need to get better at?
The salary is not at par with the industry. The yearly Salary Hikes are too low even for high performers. There was literally 0% salary hike with the promotion that was announced earlier this year. It wasn't even as much as it was the year before that.

Leadership needs to be better at relating to their employees and understanding that work-life balance is very important to many people and for the CEO to state that it's not something he values is concerning. They also need to improve their buy-in for promoting diversity.

Communication and accomplishment recognition. Its always moving on to the next project or deal and no recognition of success. (unless its an executive accomplishing something)

Rajesh is incredible. Extremely personable, and it is clear he cares. I could not name one other one aside from Vineet. (I don't think Vineet values me as an employee. I'm in sales)

Resource effort, contribution and evaluation, these things are calculated solely on numbers. I belong to a team that works on public holidays, the management has little consideration towards our responsibilities to our family, and we are asked to work on public holidays too.

My immediate team is great. I enjoy working with them. Whenever I reach out to other internal teams, it is a tough situation. People always say "reach out whenever you need something" but then when I actually reach out they are less than helpful. Being in sales, DEED and Garrett are great to work

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
To be honest, work itself is great but when you hear how much people are making after leaving egnyte it kind of demotivates you.

Knowing the CEO's ideals behind specific things and how they misalign to my values and the values of many other tech companies is concerning. It often feels like the ONLY thing that matters is the bottom line and not the people who are getting them there.

More development coverage in the US. We have fabulous engineers, but it's a challenge to support customers in North America without engineering representation in the US.
