Mr. Nathan T. Hirshi, CPA has been the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of El Paso Electric Co. since October 03, 2013. Mr. Hirshi served as Vice President and Controller of El Paso Electric Co since March 2010. Mr. Hirschi served as a Vice President of Special Projects at El Paso Electric Co. from December 2009 to February 2010. Mr. Hirschi was responsible for reviewing organizational issues for cost efficiency. He also assists in Texas and New Mexico rate filings. He has more than 23 years of public accounting and financial services experience with a focus on Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) registrants and public utilities. He worked with KPMG LLP, where he held various positions throughout his 23-year employment, including Partner, Assurance. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds certification from Texas and New Mexico. He is also a Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Hirshi received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Arizona.
