He served as Deputy General Counsel and Director of Compliance at Schlumberger and also served as its Deputy General Counsel of Corporate, Director of Legal, Strategic Transactions & Integration and Director of Legal Operations, where he was responsible for a global team of 140 lawyers. Before joining Schlumberger, he worked for Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg and Cassels Brock & Blackwell, two Canadian law firms. Mr. McGuinty has Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) from McGill University in Canada and a Bachelor of Social Sciences, Political Science & Spanish from the University of Ottawa. He is fluent in French and Spanish. His bar admissions include the Law Society of Ontario, Barreau du Quebecand Law Society of England and Wales.
