Ms. Kimberly Despeaux has been Senior Vice President of federal policy, regulatory and governmental affairs at Entergy Corporation since July 2010. Ms. Despeaux is responsible for developing policies and implementing legislative, regulatory and executive branch strategies at the federal level. Her new role encompass policy affecting transmission and regional transmission organizations, wholesale / competitive markets, Entergy System Agreement, climate change, FERC regulation and policy, other federal initiatives regarding electricity and North American Electric Reliability Corporation policy. Previously, she served as Vice President and Associate General Counsel - federal regulation & policy and before that as director of federal regulatory affairs at Entergy Corporation. She joined Entergy in 1985. Previous positions were held in a variety of roles in the legal and federal governmental affairs organizations. Ms. Despeaux is a graduate of University of North Dakota and obtained her law degree from Tulane University.
