He is a seasoned sales and broadcasting executive, having approximately 17 years of industry experience to Entravision. Previously, he was National Spot Sales Manager and Local Sales Manager for Liberman Broadcasting, where he increased the advertiser base, instituted sales training workshops and developed successful revenue maximizing strategies at television stations in San Diego, Los Angeles and Houston. Prior to joining Liberman Broadcasting, Mr. Carrera served as Local Sales Manager of KWHY-TV, a Harriscope of Los Angeles station, where he tripled local sales revenue in three years. In addition, he also held General Manager positions at Paxson Communications and General Manager/Vice President positions at Univision Communications. Mr. Carrera started his career at Fox Television Group in the sales & marketing department. He serves as the Chairman of the Board of Denver Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. He is a graduate of Harvard University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology.
