What does the leadership team need to get better at?
New CEO should clean house
Cluessless in the lipid market and have zero experience
Leadership at Esperion is Toxic
"Leadership" is a theoretical term here at Esperion - the word is used a lot but there are very few actual leaders here - none at the senior level
there is no actual leadership is here
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Regular paycheck at least during my time there
Stock comp is pretty good but less recently for new hires
Comp is standard for industry
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Comp is sub-par but not even close to enough to make up for such a poor and dishonest executive team
Compensation does not cover the ridiculous Management dishonesty and negative culture
Do not count on your compensation at Esperion...at a whim the CEO or one of his so-called executives will decide to take away bonuses and options
be careful about what you are promised - if it is not in writing they will cheat you...do not trust the company
Its all about stock options at Esperion and Management uses them to reward or more commonly punish employees
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Failed remote work experience and failed launch
Teams try to be functional but with the LT (Leadership team) so dysfunctional it causes problems
Teams work under threats and fear created by management
Coworkers are under tremendous pressure because senior execs have little experience and for some reason enjoy punishing the members of their peer's groups...its a very bad culture here
Remove the fear of reprisals, stop covertly listening in on teleconferences, stop back-stabbing
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Toxic culture from the CEO, CDO and inexperienced CFO
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Senior management changed withcompetent individuals
Rotten environment that enjoys causes drama, and encourages abusive behaviors
Esperion has an environment best termed as "cruel" and "incompetent". It is cruel because the culture allows senior executives to treat employees very badly...such behaviors would not be tolerated in a real company. It is incompetent because Management has no true experience...all lies
Esperion has a brutal environment that appears to enjoy threats and reprisals, abusive behaviors by the CEO and his so-called 'team', and an atmosphere of half-truths and out-right lies.
Esperion's environment is the worst in the world...avoid the company at all costs

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Bring in a experienced management team
CEO is a joke and he has hired too many incompetent and false executives
It is probably too late...the Board of Esperion has appointed a despot who in turn has built a completely dysfunctional team of fake leaders....this is the state of affairs at Esperion.
The Board appointed an incompetent CEO who also happens to be a terrible person, and he in turn has built a dysfunctional management team who in turn take out their frustrations on the people that work hard
Just like any culture built on a corrupt set of behaviors you cannot change it unless you change the people doing it...
