Executive Bio

Mr. Matt Genova has been Senior Vice President of Multimedia Sales at ESPN, Inc. since April 2007. Mr. Genova has also been Senior Vice President, multimedia sales at ESPN Customer Marketing and Sales since April 2007. Mr. Genova manages teams that develop new and incremental business by selling medium- specific and multi-media platforms across all ESPN-branded entities, including sports content on ABC. Since February 2005, Mr. Genova was vice president/group leader, multimedia sales. Previously, Mr. Genova has served as vice president ad sales and sponsorships, ESPN Outdoors, and was responsible for oversight of all of ESPN Outdoors ad sales & marketing and sponsorships including development and execution. Mr. Genova first joined ESPN in July 1993 as a sales planner and re-joined ESPN in November 1998 as a senior manager, integrated sales, ESPN.com. In 2000, he held a position as director, customer marketingat ESPN. Prior to re-joining ESPN, Mr. Genova was an account executive for CNN Networks. Mr. Genova was graduated from SUNY, Buffalo in 1990 with a bachelor of arts degree in economics, and received an MBA in marketing from NYU Stern School of Business in 1993.
