Mr. Christopher Kempa, also known as Chris, has been Group President of Industrial Group of Essendant Inc. since July 2017. Mr. Kempa has been President at ORS Nasco, Inc. since July 2017. He joined Essendant in 2015. He served as Senior Vice President of Merchandising at ORS Nasco, Inc. since January 18, 2016 until July 2017. Mr. Kempa joined Essendant in September 2015. He is a senior executive with extensive Merchandising, Global Sourcing, General Management, Global Supply Chain and International experience in distribution. Prior to joining Essendant, he spent 21 years with Grainger and has held a number of roles of increasing responsibility in field operations, distribution operations, enterprise systems, product management, global supply chain and International. He serves on the Board of Directors for Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Western Illinois University and his MBA from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. He has Masters Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
