  • Looking to change your invitation's Host name? By default, your host name will be the name that is entered in your account profile. When creating or editing your invitation, you can feel free to enter an alternate name in the "Hosted By" field: Please note that the text entered in the "Hosted By" field is what guests will see. You may also edit your host name on the guest list of your invitation. Simply click "Manage Invitation" under your event (available after your invitation has been sent), and click the green pencil beside your host name to edit the host name on the guest list. Guests will not see what is entered here. Note: If you are looking to add multiple hosts to your invitation and allow them admin access, you can feel free to use our co-host feature.   • Looking to resend your invitation or send a message to your guests? When you send a message to your guests, the message email will also contain a direct link to your invitation. To complete this, please see the instructions below: - Log in to your Evite account - Click "More" beside your invitation and choose "Manage Invitation" - Click "Message Guests" below your event title. You will be presented with a box where you will be able to select the guest(s) that you'd like to send a message to. You can filter your guests by using the "Yes", "No", "Maybe" and "Not Yet Replied" header buttons at the top. Sending a message will also provide guests with a link to the most updated version of your invitation, in case you have made any changes, or want to resend the invitation to guests who may have not received an invitation the first time.

  • Are you looking to cancel your invitation? Simply log in to your account, hover over "More" beside the invitation that you wish to cancel, and click "Cancel Event" You will be presented with a "Message" box, that you can use to send your guests a message about your cancellation. Notes: - Your guests will still have the invitation email they received when they were added to the event. When they click on "View Invitation," they will be informed that the event has been canceled. - If you've canceled your invitation, and would like to reinstate it or reschedule it, send us an email at [email protected], and we'll get it updated for you. - If you reinstate the invitation, the RSVPs will not be reset. They will remain the same as before the cancellation.

  • Are you looking to hide the guest list on your invitation so that your guests are only visible to you (the host)? Please see the instructions below: - Click "More" beside your invitation and choose "Add Guests" - Click the "Hide Guest List" bar on the right and click the "Make the guest list only visible to the host" checkbox - Click the green "Update" button Notes: - You can use the same instructions to reverse this action - Hiding your guest list will hide your guests' names, RSVPs, and any comments left at the time of RSVP. Any comments left after RSVP will show publicly on your invitation's activity feed. If you wish to disable the activity feed, please reach us HERE to make the request. - To view your guests' comments when your guest list is hidden, simply click "Manage Invitation" under your invitation, and scroll down to reveal your guest list. Comments that guests have left will show up under their names. Click the blue envelope to read their comments. - As the host, the guest list will still appear when you view the invitation.

  • To delete your Evite account, simply send a request to our support team HERE, providing the email address associated with the account you wish to delete, as well as the reason for your request. One of our team members will reach back to you right away with a confirmation for you. *Note* Please keep in mind that a host can still invite you to an event even if you don't have an account registered with Evite. To block future invitations from a host, simply use the '"Block this host" option at the bottom of the invitation email.

  • Want to link an additional email address to an account? To add/link an additional email address to your Evite account, log into the account that you would like to be your primary/main account, scroll over your name in the upper right corner, and select "Settings". Here, you will see your "Account Settings" and you will have a field where you will add the other email address that you want to merge to your main account. Once the new email address is added, you must verify it by clicking on the link in the email that is sent to the new email address. Once verified, you may change your new email address to the primary email address on your account. If you decide to UNLINK merged accounts, the account you unlink will become an UNREGISTERED ACCOUNT.

  • Would you like to add your event to your calendar? Simply log in to your account, and click the title of the invitation that you would like to add to your calendar. From there, make sure to click the "Details" tab on the invitation, and then click "Add to Calendar" below the RSP window. You will be able to choose from Google Calendar, iCal, Yahoo Calendar, and Outlook Calendar to add the event to. Note: If an end time is not included on the event you are adding to your calendar, the start and end time may show up the same on your calendar. You may always manually edit the end time on your calendar.

  • So, you'd like to import your guest contacts, but your email provider is not listed on our site? No problem! As a workaround, you may export your emails into a CSV/XLSX/Excel sheet and upload onto your event, or you can use the information from the file or another source that has your contacts, to simply copy and paste your guest's email address onto your guest list. Please keep in mind that you can only paste up to 750 email addresses at a time, and 750 is our maximum guest limit. Once you send your invitation, these contacts will automatically be added into your Evite Contact list, and will be available when you create a future invitation. To find out how to export a CSV file from your email provider's address book, please refer to your specific email provider's "Help" page.   • Have you seen a guest on your guest list have an "Undelivered" status, and don't know what it means? When an invitation shows up as "Undelivered", this indicates that the invitation email that we sent to the guest has bounced back to us for some reason. All guests that are undelivered will show at the top of your guest list, highlighted in red. The most common reasons are: - the email address is incorrect (incorrectly spelled, incorrect domain, etc) - the email address is a corporate/work email address, and a firewall/spam blocker is preventing the delivery - the guest or their email provider has our server email address ([email protected]) blacklisted To correct this: - If the email address is incorrect, you can click the "Update Email" link beside the listing to correct it - Have the guest check their junk/spam folder. Sometimes, an "Undelivered" status can be falsely triggered, and the guest could still receive the invitation - Remove the guest from the guest list, and add them with an alternate email address - Use your event's shareable link to send the invitation to the guest (remove them from the guest list before sending them the link, or the link will not work.) Notes: - If a guest status is "Not Viewed", this means that the invitation has been successfully delivered on our end, but the guest has not viewed it - An "Unknown" status is similar to "Undeliverable". It indicates that our system cannot determine whether or not an invitation was delivered - If you receive an email stating that some email addresses on your guest list are "Undeliverable", but when you check your guest list, there are no undelivered guests, please disregard the email. It was sent in error.

  • Connecting your Facebook account will let you sign into Evite without having to remember a password. Once your Evite account is connected to your Facebook account, you can simply click the blue "Connect with Facebook" button and be instantly signed into your Evite account. To register for an account with us using your Facebook login information, simply click HERE to access our registration page, and click the "Connect to Facebook" button. If you already have an account with us, and you'd like to connect with Facebook, you can do so using the instructions below: - Log in to your Evite account - Click your profile photo/initials at the top right corner, and click "Settings" from the drop down menu - Click the "Social Networks" link on the left - Click the "Connect with Facebook" button

  • Having trouble locating an invitation you created? First, please ensure that you are logged into the correct Evite account. Many of our users have several email addresses/Evite accounts that they log in with. We've redesigned our homepage layout to make it easier to view all of your invitations and drafts! All of your upcoming invitations (both created and received) will be at the top. There will be a divider that separates your upcoming invitations from your past invitations, and also a circle navigation at the bottom that you can use to view older invitations. *Note:* If you are still having trouble locating your invitation, please reach our Customer Experience team at [email protected] with the title of your invitation, the date, and the email addresses of at least 2 of the guests on your guest list.

  • Would you like to change or update your current profile photo? Please see the isntructions to do so below: - Sign in to your Evite account - Click on the circle at the top right of your screen that contains your current photo or your initials - Choose the "Profile" option from the drop down menu - Click the "Change" link under your current photo or initials - Choose your desired image from your computer's hard drive - Click "Save" at the bottom of the page *Notes*: - Please ensure that your privacy settings are enabled to either the first or second option (pictured below), or else hosts and other guests will not see your profile photo To Delete your profile photo, simply click the "Delete" link under your photo - If you were invited with an email address that is not associated with the account that has your photo, then you will not see your profile photo on the guest list. You will have to ask the host to email you your invitation to the email address that is associated with the account that has your profile photo.

  • Would you like to copy a past invitation? Simply log in to your account and locate your invitation under "Past Events". From there, click "More" beside it and choose "Copy Invitation". After clicking this link, any information you originally entered in the fields provided and your entire guest list will automatically transfer into a new invitation. You can then edit your invitation's information, design template and guest list before sending it out to your guests. Note: - We do not offer a recurring event option at this time, so using the "Copy Past Event" function will allow you to manually repeat your events.

  • Do you have several Evite accounts/email addresses that you'd like to merge and have listed under one account? Try our Merge feature. To merge your accounts, log into the account that you would like to be your primary/main account, click the circle with your initials/profile photo in the upper right hand corner, and select "Settings". Here, you will see your "Account Settings" and you will have a field where you will add the additional email address that you want to merge to your main account. Enter the email address you want to add to your account in the "Add Email" text box. If there is already an account with the email that you want to add, our site will prompt you to enter the password associated with that account before you can merge it. Once you merge your accounts, your events and contacts will be merged. The profile photo that will show is the photo that is attached to your primary email. Notes: - Merging your accounts/changing your primary email address will not change the host email address on any current/upcoming invitations that you have in your account. Once an invitation has been created, the host email address cannot be changed. - If you decide to UNLINK merged accounts, the account you unlink will become an unregistered account.

  • Are you looking to share your invitation via Facebook? After you have completed and sent your invitation, you can share your invitation via Facebook in one of two ways. Please see the instructions below - Click "More" beside your invitation and choose "Manage Invitation" - Click the Facebook icon You may also copy your event's shareable link and paste it in Facebook, Twitter, text message, or email. Note: When sending your invitation via Facebook or with the shareable link, guests will not show up on the guest list until after they RSVP.

  • Looking to add email addresses to your Evite Contact list? You may add contacts to your contacts list by clicking on your profile photo or initials in the upper right hand corner, and clicking "Contacts" in the drop down menu that populates. From there, click the "New Contact" button, enter your new contact's information, and then click the green "Add Contact" button to save them to your list. To delete a contact, simply click the red "x" beside the contact that you wish to remove. *NOTES*: Guests that you add to the guest lists of your invitations will be automatically saved to your Evite Contact List after you've sent the invitation to them. We do not currently offer the ability to sort or filter contacts alphabetically. All contacts will be sorted in the order that you add them (hold tight! we're working on fixes for this.)

  • Would you like to send your invitation via Text Message? Well, you have come to the right place! To send your invitation via SMS TEXT for our iOS and Android Apps, please follow our directions below. - Please log in to our app and select a template in our gallery to start an invitation - After adding your event title, date and additional details, you will select "Add Guests" on the bottom right hand corner. - A message will pop up asking for permission for Evite to Access your Contacts, and you will select "OK". If you have denied access to Contacts, or need to have access again, please follow these instructions: Click on the "Settings" icon > Scroll all the way down until you see a tab for the "Evite" app > Click the "Evite" app > Enable "Contacts"/"Photos" Your contacts will then show as a list with their phone numbers, and you can tap on your selected guests to add them to your guest list. If you are trying to add someone who is not already saved to your contacts, you will tap on the "+" icon at the top right corner to manually enter their name and phone number or email address. After you have selected your guests, you will select "Send to # of guests" in the bottom right hand corner. The # will depend on how many guests you are adding. That's it! Your guests will be sent a text message with your invitation immediately, just like a regular text. To see what a guest will view after you send your invitation, please view our FAQ here: Receiving a Text Invitation as a Guest Notes: - Please note that you will only be able to send text invitations to 10-digit US numbers at this time. For international users, please copy and paste your invitation's shareable link to share with guests that way. - We recommend adding a guest with either their email or phone number, to keep your guest count as accurate as possible. -The green text message symbol in the top left hand corner in the above image represents sharing a link with your guests, and not SMS Text message. That is another option of sharing with guests, but less personalized. An SMS will be more specific to that guest, and personalized with their name. If you decide to share with the green bubble message, the invitation link is simply copied and pasted for you to share on various social platforms.

  • Need to change your account Password? To change your password, simply sign into your account and click the circle with your initials/profile photo in the top right corner. Select "Settings" that will highlight green and click on "Update Password" in the next screen. If you've forgotten your Evite password, simply click on "Sign In" in the top right corner of our site and click "Forgot your Password." You'll then be asked to enter the email address associated with your account and will receive instructions via your email account to reset your password. If you're still experiencing difficulties, please contact our support team at [email protected] and we'll get your password reset for you as soon as possible!

  • We're sorry, we do not currently offer a "Maybe" option for our Premium invitations. The tone of our Premium invites is meant to be a bit more formal. Based on the feedback we've received from our users, we bypassed that option so that hosts can have a more immediate and accurate headcount in instances where it's need for catering or materials, etc.

  • Looking to send a shareable link to guests on your invitation? After you've completed and sent your invitation, you will see your shareable link on your Host "Manage Invitation" dashboard. The shareable link can be used to share your invitation with guests via text message, social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc.), and regular/personal email. To locate your link: - Log in to your Evite account - Click "More" beside your invitation and choose "Manage Invitation" Notes: - We offer an SMS option now that you can use to send your invitation via text - You will not be able to send the shareable link to guests that you've already added to the guest list. The link will not work. - Please do not copy and paste the URL in your address bar to share your invitation. - The guests that you sent the invitation to via the shareable link, will not show up on your guest list until after they've RSVP'd.

  • Our current guest list limit for Evite invitations is 750 guests per invitation. This means you can send your Free or Premium invitation to up to 750 guests. If you are looking to send the invitation to more than 750 guests, you can feel free to duplicate the invitation (copy invitation) to accommodate the amount of guests you are looking to invite.

  • If you have added your guests to your guest list but do not see them on the guest list, it is possible you have not sent them and they are on your "Saved Guest List". Your guests will only be sent the invitation when you press "Finish and Send. " When you press "Save and Send Later". Your guests are saved on the guest list, to be sent later, at a later time when you wish to send them out. To send out your guest list, please go to "Manage Invitation" and "Saved Guest List" in GREEN. Once on the "Save Guest List" page, you will see your saved guests, and you can select "Finish and Send" to send them out immediately. Also, if you sent your invitation via it's shareable link (text, email, social media), guests will not show up on the guest list until after they've RSVP'd.

  • Would you like to copy your invitation using the mobile app? Please see the steps below: - Log in to your Evite account using the mobile app - Swipe to your desired event, and tap it once - Tap "More" at the bottom right corner - Tap "Copy Invitation" - Your draft will then appear under "Upcoming" (draft will include your invitation information and guest list, with the exception of the new date and time, which you will have to input) - Tap on "Edit Details" to make changes - You are free to change more information if event details have changed since the previous event.

  • Would you like to leave a comment on the invitation you were invited to? If so, please follow the steps below: - Sign in to your Evite account using the mobile app - Swipe to your desired event, and tap it once - Tap the "Activity" tab at the bottom of the page - Select the blue pen icon in the bottom right corner - At the top you can post your comment, with the option of adding a photo from your phone's camera roll - Write your comment and tap the blue arrow in the upper right hand corner -Your comment is now posted to the feed! Notes: -To remove at any time, you can select the 3 dots in the upper right hand corner, and select "Delete Post".

  • Would you like to send invitations via text on your desktop? You've come to the right place! Now you can add your guests' phone numbers to your guest list and send them a text invitation. (Please note that you will only be able to send text invitations to 10-digit US numbers at this time. For international users, please copy and paste your invitation's shareable link to share with guests that way. For our Free Invitations: On the Add Guest Step, you will now have the option to add phone numbers OR emails of your guests. You will be required to input a name for your guest number, so you can distinguish who they are on your guest list: You may also upload with a file and the formatting is as follows: For Premium: On the Add Guest Step, you will now have the option to add phone numbers OR emails of your guests. Phone numbers will be the same as emails, and will be included in the price of invitations that you purchase. It is required to add a Guest Name when adding a phone number, to distinguish which guest is associated with their related phone number on your guest list. You can also upload via a file that includes phone numbers. The formatting is as follows: You may put either an email OR a phone number in Column B to upload your file successfully.
