What does the leadership team need to get better at?
They don't know answers. They don't know sick leave or Covid related laws, they think one person is enough to run an entire store.
They need to be more supportive. Rewards or at least praise for doing a good job.
General communication and leadership skills need to worked on.
Encouraging employees rather than bringing them down all the time.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Free pair of glasses every year
Solid program, enroll quickly and has a 401k match.
Hard to bonus in my location.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Different pay scale for same position
Medical is joke. Hourly rate is sub par.
I would make between 50% and 65% more doing the same job at any other company in the place where I live.
The pay is all over the place. New people coming in make more than the people who have been there and have proven to be assets.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Our ability to improve on great results
They want to be there, enjoy coming in. Willingness to learn something new.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Teamwork, communication, and trained better
Not compete all the time for commission and learn I help one another.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everyone is pretty relaxed, ready to learn more so we can continue to find new ways to help each other.
They accept everyone no questions asked. They make you feel like your opinion matters and is wanted.
The only positivity is with my store. Everything outside of that continues to be a negative experience

Everything.. better management. Better leadership

What did you like most about the interview process?
The upfront honestly about pay and steadiness of the store.
My manager listened to what I needed from a job and worked with me to come up with an offer that allowed me to pay my bills. Unfortunately all other optics companies are offering better pay so I am considering leaving this company.
They made you want to work for the company. They made it seem like it was a great place to work
