Mr. Christopher Leigh Jones has been the Executive Vice President of Investment Management and Chief Investment Officer of Financial Engines Inc. since May 2001 and January 2006 respectively. Mr. Jones served as its Executive Vice President of Investment Management at Financial Engines, Inc. from May 2001 to January 2006, its Vice President of Financial Research & Strategy, from January 1998 to May 2001 and Director of Financial Research from December 1996 to January 1998. He served as the Chief Investment Officer at AdviceAmerica, Inc. Prior to, he worked at Cornerstone Research, where he managed consultant teams studied financial institutions, securities class-action claims, antitrust actions and intellectual property issues in support of complex corporate litigation. He conducted research at the Center for Economic Policy Research at Stanford University. He is the author of the book, The Intelligent Portfolio: Practical Wisdom on Personal Investing from Financial Engines. Mr. Jones earned Master's degrees in Business Technology and Engineering-Economic Systems and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Stanford University.
