Mr. James M. Lucas, also known as Jim serves as Senior Vice President of Tax & Treasury at Fluor Corporation and has been its Treasurer since November 2011. Mr. Lucas is responsible for the administration of global tax policies and procedures for Fluor Corporation. He oversees its corporate finance, pension and trust investments, risk and insurance and global cash management functions. He served as Chief Tax Officer at Fluor Corporation. Mr. Lucas joined Fluor in January of 2006 and was hired to rebuild the tax department following the relocation of corporate headquarters from Aliso Viejo, California to Irving, Texas. Prior to joining Fluor, Mr. Lucas served as Chief Tax Officer for Limited Brands and AMR Corporation, parent company of American Airlines and also was in private practice for 12 years with the international law firms of Baker Botts L.L.P. and Bryan Cave LLP. Mr. Lucas received his law degree from the University of Texas School of Law and his undergraduate degree in accounting from Baylor University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
