Richard Zimmermann — Vice President of Network Solutions at Forsythe

Mr. Richard A. Zimmermann has been Vice President of Solutions Group at Forsythe Technology, Inc. Mr. Zimmermann served as Vice President of Network Solutions at Forsythe Solutions Group, Inc. Mr. Zimmermann serves as Vice President of Network & Security Solutions of Forsythe Technology Inc. and is responsible for developing and implementing Forsythe's corporate strategy in the networking and security lines of business, including IP communications, wireless and optical networking, compliance advisory services and security technology and vulnerability assessments and solutions. Mr. Zimmermann served as Vice President of Network Solutions of Forsythe Solutions Group, Inc. since December 2004. He has more than 20 years of experience in the IT Communications Industry. Before joining Forsythe, Mr. Zimmermann served as Vice President of Marketing for Houston-based IP communications company NextiraOne, LLC, (formerly, Williams Communications Solutions, where he served as Vice President of General Business Sales). He began his career at Bell Atlantic in operations, as a construction and installation Manager and later served as Manager of Network Planning and Manager of Rate and Regulatory Matters and served as Director of mid-market sales, responsible for creating a direct sales organization for mid-sized business customers. Later, he served as Director of finance and compensation, responsible for policy development, market pricing, financial modeling and compensation plan development. He has been Chairman of Enterprise Communications Association since June 2004. Mr. Zimmermann earned his bachelor's degree in metallurgical engineering from Lafayette College, Easton, Pennsylvania; a master's degree in engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia; and an MBA from Drexel University, Philadelphia.
