Previously, Mr. Xie served as the Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Engineering at ServGate Technologies, Inc. He served as a Software Director and Architect of NetScreen and Security Architect of Milkyway. He has over 10 years of experience in the network security area. He was named as a Top Technology Innovator by VAR Business Magazine in 2004. Mr. Xie has multiple U.S. patents and is the author of several books in the computer and network security markets. He has been a Director at Fortinet Inc. since February 2001. Mr. Xie serves as a Director of ServGate Technologies, Inc. Mr. Xie holds an M.S. degree in Computer Science from University of Manitoba as well as B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University in China.
