Ryan Witt — Managing Director of Healthcare Industry Practice and Vice President at Fortinet

Mr. Ryan Witt has been Vice President and Managing Director of Healthcare Industry Practice at Fortinet Inc. since March 2015. Mr. Witt worked within Health IT for almost 20 years. He served as Vice President of Growth & Innovation at ClearDATA Networks, Inc. since September 24, 2014. Mr. Witt joined ClearDATA after serving four years at computer networking giant Juniper Networks, as Managing Director, where he launched and built the healthcare vertical practice which included a Healthcare Advisory Board consisting of several leaders from large healthcare providers who advised it on strategy and provided guidance on developing industry-based solutions. He founded and led Juniper Network's Healthcare Industry Practice. He served as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales of BridgeHead Software, Inc. since October 2005. He served as Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing of BridgeHead Software Limited. He helped quadruple revenue, and secured hundreds of new U.S. hospital clients, including a large number of healthcare blue chip hospital systems. Prior to joining BridgeHead Software, he worked for Hitachi Data Systems, in a number of roles including Sales Director for Finance and Telco Sector and Country Manager. He began his sales career in Xerox's London office. He has over 10 years experience in revenue boosting and increasing client sales. He was the chair of Juniper's Healthcare Advisory Board. His credentials as a healthcare IT subject matter expert include serving as co-chair of the WEDI Innovative Encounters Workgroup, WEDI Report 2013 contributor, and member of the HIT100 most influential tweeters in digital health. He is a frequent speaker, moderator, and panelist working with HIMSS, FierceHealthIT, National E-Health Collaborative, IDC and other organizations. Mr. Witt has a BSc degree in Business Administration (Marketing) awarded by San Jose State University, California.
