John J. Haines — Chief Financial Officer and Vice President at Franklin Electric

Mr. John J. Haines has been the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Franklin Electric Co., Inc. since April 14, 2008 and served as its Secretary since April 14, 2008 until September 12, 2016. Prior to joining Franklin, Mr. Haines served as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Auto Finance Business from August 2004 to February 2008. He has more than 15 years of management experience in the areas of finance, operations, risk management, asset remarketing, auditing and accounting. Mr. Haines served as a Senior Executive Vice President of Auto Finance of HSBC Financial Corp. Ltd. (formerly, Household International) since February 2008. Mr. Haines was employed by General Electric in a variety of capacities from 1989 to 2004, including as its Senior Vice President of Products and Services from 2003 to 2004, Senior Vice President of North American Operations from 2002 to 2003 and Vice President of Asset Remarketing from 1999 to 2002. Prior to his last assignment, Mr. Haines served as the Senior Vice President of North American Operations for GE Fleet Services from 2002 to 2003 and Vice President of Asset Remarketing for GE Capital Auto Financial Services from 1999 to 2001. Before joining GE in 1989, he served as Senior Auditor at Price Waterhouse from 1985 to 1989. Mr. Haines received his BA in Accounting from Manchester College in North Manchester, Indiana and a master's degree in management from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
