What benefits does FUJITSU AMERICA INC provide?
Great health benefits, including your choice of major providers to fit what is best for your family. Possible bonuses depending on your groups relation to sales, ranging from very small to reasonable. Very poor accrual rates for vacation days for newcomers--tenured folks have reasonable rates of accrual. If at all possible to negotiate for more vacation days or a more aggressive accrual rate, try!
What's the company culture like at FUJITSU AMERICA INC?
Top Employee Response
The culture is very split, depending on your business unit. As a Japanese owned company, it is extremely fragmented into uncooperative business units, with each unit maintaining their status quo so as not to ruffle feathers up above and be focused on for reorg (This is a leadership issue.) Within each group, the culture reflects this "do not disturb" mentality, which is semi somber. General flaws aside, it comes down to your management team. Some are great and hands-off, as long as deadlines are met. Others are a bit more intrusive. The company also has a large number of remote workers, who are left alone (subjectively positive or negative). Don't expect the culture of a modern tech company with games, free food, incentives to stay at work, etc.. but do expect to be treated well, earn a decent wage, and be encouraged to stay for the long haul, as there is an impressive number of people who have been with the company for 15+ years. Work from home if possible, but you'll be ok either way
