Russell Smith is President of Fullscope, an Alithya company (Alithya US). Smith was a co-founder of RedKlay Solutions which provided enterprise applications and consulting services to the manufacturing sector. RedKlay was acquired by Fullscope in 2002, and Smith served as the CEO of Fullscope from 2003 to 2009. He was integral in architecting and executing the business strategy that led Fullscope to being nationally recognized as a leading Microsoft Dynamics partner. In December, 2009, Fullscope was acquired by Edgewater where Smith continues to lead the strategic direction, operations, and growth of the Fullscope practice.
Smith’s prior experience includes Director of Business Development and Operations at The Pinnacle Group, which was acquired by CSC in 1997. Smith was named a Partner at CSC and successfully managed the integration of The Pinnacle Group into CSC. Smith began his career at IBM working in various engineering management and manufacturing operations roles from 1989 to 1996.
Smith’s experience includes raising venture capital and deploying capital to drive growth and profitability while increasing shareholder value. He also has experience leading business combinations and successfully managing the resulting integrations. Smith holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering from Auburn University and a Masters of Business Administration from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
