Executive Bio
Mr. Jody Bishop serves as Senior Vice President and Director of Legal at GENBAND US LLC. Mr. Bishop joined GENBAND in February 2012. Prior to joining GENBAND, Mr. Bishop was a Partner of Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P. (now Norton Rose Fulbright). At Fulbright, Mr. Bishop focused principally on the representation of both public and private clients with an emphasis on intellectual property transactional matters, including patent preparation and prosecution, client counseling regarding management and strategic development of international patent portfolios, pre-litigation risk assessments, patent non-infringement and invalidity studies, technology transactions and licensing agreements, joint development agreements, conducting due diligence and drafting operative agreements for corporate mergers and acquisitions, trademark preparation and prosecution, copyright registration and other intellectual property matters. Mr. Bishop received his Bachelor of Science Degree in computer systems engineering and his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Arkansas.
