Mr. Andrew C. Pearson, also known as Drew, is a Managing Director and Global Head of Portfolio Management at General Atlantic LLC. Mr. Pearson joined the firm in 1996 and has been with General Atlantic for over 18 years. In this role, he leads the firm's portfolio management process which includes assessing portfolio company performance, executing liquidity transactions, and monitoring risk management. Prior to this, Mr. Pearson was a Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company, Inc. and worked with Fortune 500 businesses in the technology and financial services industries. He has expertise in portfolio management, capital markets, risk management, financial services, technology, and consulting. He has worked on over $150 million in transactions in the enterprise software and IT infrastructure markets. He has publication: 'How to Predict the Future: Best Practices in Forecasting'. He has done an M.A. and B.A. in Regional Science from The School of Arts and Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania in 1994 and a B.S. in Finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1994.
