Mr. Jonathan Craig Korngold serves as the Managing Director, Global Head of Financial Services and Director of General Atlantic LLC. Mr. Korngold served as the Co-Head of Global Healthcare Sector at the firm. He joined General Atlantic in 2001, served as its Principal and has previously led the firm's Global Healthcare sector. Mr. Korngold has worked closely with many of the firm's public and private portfolio companies in the financial services, healthcare services and business services sectors. In addition, he is an Adjunct Professor in the Finance and Economics Department of Columbia Business School. Prior to General Atlantic, he served as a Member of Goldman Sachs's Principal Investment Area and Mergers and Acquisitions groups. He did pro bono work for the U.S. Embassy's Foreign Commercial Service. He serves as a Director of Avanta, Avant, Inc., Align Networks Inc., Santander Asset Management and Emdeon Business Services. He has been a Director of Sam Investment Holdings Limited since March 25, 2014 and The Dalton School. He serves as a Director of Qualicorp Consultoria e Corretora de Seguros Ltda. He is a Trustee of The Cleveland Clinic, of The Dalton School, of The Central Park Conservancy and of the 92nd Street Y. He has been a Member of the American Museum of Natural History's Museum Advisory Council. He is also active with Harvard University, where he Co-Chairs fundraising for his College class. Mr. Korngold served as a Director of MedExpress Urgent Care, PLLC. Mr. Korngold served as a Board Observer of Net 1 UEPS Technologies Inc. He served as a Director of The Central Park Conservancy, The 92nd Street Y, Kids In Distressed Situations (K.I.D.S.), Streetwise Partners and The Harvard Business School Club of New York. Mr. Korngold served as a Director of QualiCorp SA. He served as a Director of Emdeon Inc., since September 2008 and Saxo Bank A/S. He served on the Board of Directors or as a Trustee of The Cleveland Clinic Corp. He sat on the Healthcare Advisory Board of the Executive Council. He is actively involved in a number of educational and non-profit and community organizations, including DonorsChoose.org, The Echoing Green Foundation, K.I.D.S., StreetWise Partners, The Prince's Trust, The Central Park Conservancy and the Health and Hospitals Corporation Foundation. Mr. Korngold is a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum and a Commissioned Kentucky Colonel. He and his team have been recognized for their efforts in the financial services sector, including having been ranked #1 in Institutional Investor's list of global Financial Technology dealmakers. He is a member of a number of Dean-appointed strategic task forces for Harvard College and for the Harvard Business School. Mr. Korngold has won the M&A Advisor's inaugural 40 Under 40 Recognition Award. He was named to the Institutional Investor's 2017 Fintech Finance 40 list. He has extensive experience with technology-enabled services companies and has specific expertise in working with business process outsourcing, transaction processing, government services, financial services and healthcare-related businesses. Mr. Korngold holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and an A.B. in Economics with honors from Harvard College. He has studied Mandarin Chinese at Peking University.
