Pam Fang — Managing Director at General Atlantic

Ms. Pam Fang serves as Managing Director at General Atlantic LLC since November 6, 2017 to lead its capital partnering efforts in Asia. Ms. Fang joins General Atlantic from Actis LLP, where she was a Director and Head of Investor Development Group until November 5, 2017 and was responsible for fundraising and investor relations activities in the region. She joined the firm in 2014. Previously, she served as Senior Vice President at CDIB Capital (International) Corporation. Ms. Fang focuses on sourcing, underwriting and portfolio management of investments in the China-Taiwan vertical. In addition, she leads investor relations and capital raising activities. She also led global business development and fundraising at CDIB Capital International. Prior to joining CDIB, Ms. Fang was an Investment Lead for GE Equity (GE Capital)'s multi-strategy private equity fund, where she led deal origination and underwriting for venture capital, growth equity, leveraged buyouts, direct private equity investments and restructuring investments. She also played an active role on the boards of a number of GE Capital's portfolio companies. In addition to her broad PE investing experience, Ms. Fang has years of experience in business development, mergers & acquisitions, debt structuring and sales working at Morgan Stanley and Barclays Capital. She holds an M.B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
