Mr. Paul Stamas serves as a Managing Director at General Atlantic LLC since December 17, 2014. Mr. Stamas joined General Atlantic in 2010. Previously, he served as a Vice President and Principal at the firm. Mr. Stamas is a part of the Healthcare team and focuses on investments in the healthcare and financial services and financial technology sectors. Previously, he worked for Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe as an Associate focusing on investments in the healthcare services and information and business services sectors. Prior to that, Mr. Stamas was an Analyst in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman, Sachs & Co., in their Consumer / Retail Group. He serves on the board of TradeMonster/OptionsHouse and Insurity, Inc. He served as a Director of OM Securities, LLC. In 2016, Mr. Stamas was named one of GrowthCap's Top 40 Under 40 Growth Investors. He received an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School where Mr. Stamas graduated with highest distinction and was a Baker Scholar. He received a B.S.E. from the Princeton University in Operations Research and Financial Engineering, where he graduated summa cum laude.
