Shantanu Rastogi — Managing Director at General Atlantic

Mr. Shantanu Rastogi serves as a Managing Director at General Atlantic LLC. Mr. Rastogi specializes in investments in financial services, retail and consumer and healthcare sectors of India and Asia Pacific. Mr. Rastogi served as Principal and Associate, since 2005 till 2007 at General Atlantic LLC, which he joined in 2005 and was there till 2007. He rejoined General Atlantic in 2013. He also served as a Principal at Apax Partners LLP. He joined Apax Partners in 2009, specialized in healthcare, retail and consumer investments in India. Prior to General Atlantic, he worked as a Junior Associate and Consultant at McKinsey & Co. While at McKinsey, he worked with clients in the pharmaceutical, manufacturing and government sectors. Mr. Rastogi received an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Joseph H Wharton Scholar and an M.S. in Microelectronics and a Bachelors of Technology in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology in Mumbai in 2002 and 2001 respectively.
