John P. Casey — Executive Vice President of Marine Systems at General Dynamics Corporation

Mr. John P. Casey has been an Executive Vice President of Marine Systems Group at General Dynamics Marine Systems, Inc., since May 2, 2012. Mr. Casey served as Vice President of General Dynamics Corporation from October 1, 2003 to May 2012. He served as the President of General Dynamics Electric Boat Corp. from October 1, 2003 to May 2, 2012 and its Vice President from October 1996 to October 2003. He joined General Dynamics Electric Boat in 1979 and served as its Vice President, Operations. Mr. Casey served as Vice President, Programs; Site Manager for Quonset Point facility; General Superintendent, Machine Shop, foundry and electrical trades; Director of Estimating and Contract Changes; Manager of 688-Class Ships Management; SSN-751 Ship Manager and Superintendent of pipe coverers at General Dynamics Electric Boat. He served as a Member of Board of Trustees at The Westerly Hospital. He is a 1976 graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute where he earned a BS in Civil Engineering. Mr. Casey also holds an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MS in Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Alfred P. Sloan Fellows Program.
