Mr. S. Daniel Johnson, also known as Dan, has been an Executive Vice President of Information Systems and Technology Group at General Dynamics Corporation since January 1, 2015. Mr. Johnson served as the President of General Dynamics Information Technology at General Dynamics Corporation since April 2008 until September 1, 2017. Mr. Johnson served as the President of Information Technology at General Dynamics Corporation since October 4, 2015. He served as Vice President of General Dynamics Corporation since April 1, 2008 until December 2014. Previously, from June 2006 to April 2008, he served as an Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of General Dynamics Information Technology, where he was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the organization. He served as an Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Anteon International Corporation from July 30, 2003 to June 2006 and its President since April 01, 2008. Mr. Johnson served as an Executive Vice President of Public Services Business Unit at BearingPoint, Inc. He joined BearingPoint Inc., (formerly KPMG Consulting), in 1975 and served in positions of increasing responsibility in a number of business areas, including eGovernment Internet integration, enterprise resource planning and systems integration. He serves as a Director of Professional Services Council and Northern Virginia Technology Council. In 1997, he assumed responsibility for all government business for BearingPoint, Inc., a national business unit of approximately 3,000 personnel serving federal, state and local, university and health care customers. He served at U.S. Navy from 1969 to 1975. Mr. Johnson began his consulting career with KPMG, providing project management and systems acquisition services to Navy weapons systems acquisition programs. He progressed through increasing positions of leadership and served as Head of all Navy programs and eventually leading all Department of Defense consulting. Customers spanned headquarters, field site and laboratory components of the Departments of the Army, Navy and Air Force. His functional specialties included acquisition planning, financial systems, Enterprise Resource Planning systems and Internet integration. Mr. Johnson graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1969 and George Washington University in 1975.
