Mr. Daniel Allen Hirschfeld, also known as Dan, has been an Executive Vice President at Genesis Healthcare, Inc. since February 2, 2015 and serves as its Chief Operating Officer of International Operations. Mr. Hirschfeld has been President of Genesis Rehab Services, Respiratory Health Services & International Operations of Genesis Eldercare Rehabilitation Services, Inc. since December 7, 2017. He serves as President of Genesis Rehabilitation Services at Genesis Healthcare, Inc. and served as its Chief Operating Officer of International Operations & Genesis Rehab Services since May 29, 2016. Mr. Hirschfeld served as President of International Operations and Rehabilitation Services Genesis Eldercare Rehabilitation Services, Inc. (formerly known as Genesis Rehab Services) since 2016 until May 29, 2016. Mr. Hirschfeld served as the President of Genesis Eldercare Rehabilitation Services, Inc. at Genesis Healthcare, Inc. since February 2007 until 2016. Mr. Hirschfeld has an extensive background in a variety of healthcare settings, ranging from acquisitions and business development roles to management of an ancillary services business and the creation of an assisted living company. His business experience includes healthcare, technology (ASP, infrastructure and e-commerce), distance learning, petroleum industry and a diversified holding company. He is a national presenter and panelist for the healthcare industry and for national investment conferences and has been an industry representative to various state and national government bodies. Mr. Hirschfeld served as Senior Vice President of Genesis Eldercare Rehabilitation Services Inc. from March 2005 to February 2007. Prior to joining Genesis, he served as President, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer at several privately held and publicly held companies with operations throughout the United States. Mr. Hirschfeld serves as a Director at Assisted Living Federation of America. He serves on the Board of Directors for The National Association for the Support of Long Term Care (NASL) and Allied Health Research Institute (AHRI). Mr. Hirschfeld holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a concentration in accounting from Duke University, a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in finance from Loyola College in Baltimore, Maryland and a Master of Finance Degree from Loyola College.
