Executive Bio

Mr. Jason H. Feuerman has been a Senior Vice President of Strategic Development & Managed Care at Genesis Healthcare, Inc. since April 2014. Mr. Feuerman is responsible for leading strategic development efforts at Genesis that provide innovative, effective solutions to the challenges presented in the constantly evolving healthcare industry. Mr. Feuerman has been the President of Maryland, District of Columbia, Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey Markets at HealthSpring Inc., since January 2011. A twenty-year veteran of the healthcare industry, Mr. Feuerman served as Senior Vice President of ValueOptions, Inc. since April 3, 2013 and served as its President of Public Sector and Health Plan Division since April 3, 2013. He managed ValueOptions public sector portfolio of state-sponsored programs that administer mental health and substance abuse benefits as well as ancillary services to Medicaid and indigent populations. In addition, he oversaw the management of key health plans throughout the country. He served as an Executive Vice President of Health Care Delivery of Elder Health, Inc. since May 31, 2006 and was responsible for managing its managed care and provider-based operations in Maryland and Pennsylvania. Mr. Feuerman has more than 18 years of health care and financial management experience. Prior to joining ValueOptions, Mr. Feuerman served as President of Bravo Health, a subsidiary of Cigna, Inc. Mr. Feuerman served as President of Bravo Health Pennsylvania, Inc. (alternate name: Elder Health Pennsylvania HMO Inc.), a subsidiary of Elder Health, Inc. until May 31, 2006. Prior to joining Elder Health in 1997, Mr. Feuerman served as President and Chief Operating Officer for Senior Care Centers of America, Inc., procuring the first Medicare, managed-care contract awarded to a New Jersey provider of adult day health care. He served as Executive Vice President of Health Care Delivery and Executive Director of Bravo Health Pennsylvania at Bravo Health Inc. a subsidiary of Cigna, Inc. He has served as Member of the Southeastern Pennsylvania American Heart Association board of directors. Mr. Feuerman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Maryland.
