Mr. Richard P. Blinn, also known as Dick, has been an Executive Vice President of Genesis HealthCare, Inc. since December 2003 and serves as its President of Northeast and Southeast Divisions. Mr. Blinn served as the President of Northeast Area of Genesis Eldercare Rehabilitation Services Inc., a subsidiary of Genesis Healthcare Corp. He has over 30 years experience in the health care. He served as Regional President of New England ElderCare Region of Genesis Healthcare Corp. from 1998 to December 2003. He served as the President of Genesis ElderCare -New England Region at NeighborCare, Inc. Mr. Blinn served as the President of NCI (GHVI) New England ElderCare Region since 1998. Previously, he served as a Social Worker, Administrator, District Manager and Vice President of Operations. He is a past Chairman of the Massachusetts Senior Care Association, is Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Association of Health Care Facilities, past President of the Massachusetts Long Term Care Foundation and serves on the Advisory Team of the Massachusetts Alzheimer's Association. Mr. Blinn holds a Bachelor of Science from Westfield State College and Masters from the University of Southern New Hampshire.
