The hours have been crazy for the past year and my life has been completely flooded out by work. Seeing other companies hiring at much higher rates and far better hours makes it clear to me that there is little to no reason worth remaining here.
What did you like most about the interview process?
It was quick, and my interviewer was friendly.
What makes you most happy at work?
My coworkers are some of the best I've ever worked with.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I would say it is more positive than negative but certainly, it's both. The people I work closest to remain positive. My line, made up of four employees, is very happy to see one another. We're all in this together.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The people I work with, and I included remaining positive while we work. This includes those I work with directly on my line. We make the most of our being here, though we are all open to leaving for better opportunities.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I think the company needs to return to incentivizing people to come to work, specifically in buildings where work has been behind for over a year and employees are expected to work no less than 6 or sometimes even 7 days a week. More vacation time would be appreciated, or pay.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
A lot. But one small thing they could do is replace our new managers with the ones they decided to fire, and prevent managers from giving TMS positions to unqualified employees who know no one or have a basic understanding of how lines operate. Also, poor judgment has kept qualified workers out.
