The individuals are great. There is a huge cultural disconnect once you get to the leadership level, usually directors and upwards. Leadership's talk of diversity is a very shallow understanding of social identity politics and their interpretation of inclusion is outdated and simplistic.
What is the best part about your compensation package?

The leadership fails to inspire. Their motivational communications feel more like "shut up and just do your work."

Our team in isolation is passionate and caring in a holistic way that feels lacking from the leadership team.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Leadership feels very immature; they don't seem to understand the frustration of teams especially when a higher level steps in with little to no accountability or follow up.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Leadership is tone deaf to the concerns of employees. There is a huge deficit of human compassion in leadership; it's about the bottom line. A culture of tech bro idealism without inclusion is perpetuated by leadership.
