The leaders need to think of their selves less. Some leaders are abusive of their people just so to serve their personal agenda i.e. they do not respect people's time after office, during weekends and holidays for their families and personal lives.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The higher leadership team listens and acknowledges the challenges and opportunities, and is able to make necessary decisions based on the data presented by the team.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Respect personal time. Promote the rightful and competent leaders. Educate newly-promoted leaders coming from technical roles about leadership, people mgmt, etc. Provide enough resources with the right competence.
