What does the leadership team need to get better at?
The leadership team is entirely disconnected from the Customers and the none non-ELT workers. They do not understand the technology and instead rely on market trends and "experts" from non-SAAS companies to influence its decisions and policies. Granicus is NOT amazon, but they want to be.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Great vacation as it’s unlimit
The unlimited PTO and generous bonuses are truly very nice and people aren't faulted for taking time off.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
They pay far below median pay, no stock, 5% bonus max.
Senior Project Manager is Canada is underpaid relative to experience.
Granicus recruits and creates offer letters that is based on the industry standard of OTE which means "On Target Earnings". Granicus believes OTE means...if you over achieve on your target you might get paid what your OTE is if you hit enough accelerators. Thus misleading candidates & underpaying.

Everyone is here to support the mission of the company to help governments improve the lives of their citizens.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Zero effort to build company culture or team culture. Fully remote and half the team is on the other side of the world
What did you like most about the interview process?
The interview process was straightforward and swift. Met the right people and enjoyed the process.
For me, it went extremely smooth and very quick. I had a third party recruiter contact me and they communicated very well throughout the process.

fixing issues and solving client problems as well as interacting with my customers, peers and my boss.
Company products are exceptional and numerous.
Working with incredible co-workers and leaders.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The leadership and culture need to change. It is not a sales friendly company and too often people make mistakes or last minute scheduling and it is acceptable in this culture.
