Mr. John C. Rickel has been Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Group 1 Automotive, Inc. since December 2005 and serves as its Chief Accounting Officer. Mr. Rickel serves as Vice President and Director of Maxwell Ford, Inc. He serves as Vice President and Director of McCall-H, Inc. He served as Chief Executive Officer and Acting Treasurer of Group 1 Automotive, Inc. He held a number of executive and managerial positions of increasing responsibility with Ford Motor Company. He served as Controller of Ford Americas, where he was responsible for the financial management of its western hemisphere automotive operations. Immediately prior to that, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Ford Europe, where he oversaw all accounting, financial planning, information services, tax and investor relations activities. From 2002 to 2004, Mr. Rickel served as Chairman of Ford Russia. He serves as a Director of Barons Hindhead Ltd., Chandlers (Hailsham) Limited, Chandlers Garage (Brighton) Limited, Barons Farnborough Limited and Elms Automotive Limited. He received his BSBA in 1982 and MBA in 1984 from the Ohio State University.
