Executive Bio
Mr. Christopher T. McKee, also known as Chris, serves as an Executive Vice President of Corporate Development at GTT Communications, Inc. (AKA GTT Communications, Inc.) and has been its General Counsel and Secretary since May 6, 2008. Mr. McKee is responsible for all of corporate legal requirements, human resources and supplier management. He also oversees the development of strategic business opportunities for GTT, including all merger and acquisition activities. He joined GTT Telecommunications, Inc. (NYSE GTT) in 2008. He has over 20 years of broad legal experience in the telecommunications industry. He served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Global Telecom & Technology Inc. He served as General Counsel and Vice President of StarVox Communications Inc. (formerly, US Wireless Data Inc.) since July 16, 2007. He was responsible for legal department, mergers and acquisitions, employment law, litigation and legal support for the sales teams. Mr. Mckee served as Secretary of StarVox Communications, Inc. From 2005 to 2007, he served as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel of Covad Communications Group Inc., where he headed Covad's Washington, DC office and directed the federal and state regulatory compliance and advocacy efforts for Covad. He served as a Deputy General Counsel of Net2000 Communications Inc., from 1998 to 2002. From 1994 to 1998, he served as an Associate at Washington DC-based law firms Dickstein Shapiro LLP and Dow Lohnes PLLC. From 2002 to 2005, he served as an Executive Director of Legal and Regulatory Affairs for XO Communications, Inc. He has been a Director of Cool Technologies, Inc. since August 19, 2015 and has been its Member of Strategic Advisory Board since June 1, 2014. He serves as a Director of COMPTEL. e serves as a Member of Strategic Advisory Board at HPEV, Inc. He served as a Director of Memorial Health Care System, Inc. Mr. McKee holds a Juris Doctor from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Arts from Colby College.
