Mr. Michael B. Hobbs, also known as Mike, has been President of Guaranty Bank and Trust Company since July 20, 2011 and serves as Its Director. Mr. Hobbs served as the Managing Director of Financial Institutions Group Investment Banking at St. Charles Capital, LLC since 2009. Mr. Hobbs served as a Senior Vice President of McDonald Investments Inc. and KeyBanc Capital Markets Inc. Mr. Hobbs served as President of Rocky Mountain region at Keybank National Association of KeyCorp, which comprises the Idaho and Utah Districts. He served as the President of Colorado District at Keybank National Association since September 2005. He served as an Executive Vice President of Commercial Banking for the Rocky Mountain and Southwest Regions at Key. He has more than 20 years of financial services experience with over 15 years in the Colorado banking community. Mr. Hobbs started his career at NationsBank, where he specialized in the energy sector and co-founded NationsBank's corporate healthcare practice. He joined KeyCorp in 1996 and played a significant role in building its presence in Colorado, after it entered the marketplace in 1990. He is an active leader in the Rocky Mountain community and number of charitable and civic endeavors. He serves on Texas Christian University's Chancellor's Advisory Council. He served on the board of the Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce, Colorado I Have A Dream Foundation and Junior Achievement. Mr. Hobbs earned a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Texas Christian University in 1984 and received a Masters of Business Administration with honors in Finance from Texas Christian University in 1992.
