    I am not listened to despite having decades of proven experience. My reporting problems go ignored or I receive a generic platitude to placate my concern while nothing changes. I don't see any advantage to having accepted more responsibility.

    Listen and work with subordinates. attempt to understand a situation and critically examine its effects before blindly proceeding. be willing to admit a mistake and make changes instead of committing to making a mistake step somewhat work.
