Dana Mehnert — Senior VP & Chief Global Business Development Officer at Harris Corporation

Mr. Dana A. Mehnert has been the Chief Global Business Development Officer and Senior Vice President of Harris Corporation since July 01, 2015. Mr. Mehnert served as the Group President of RF Communications at Harris Corp. since July 2006 to July 2015. He joined Harris in 1985 and served as its Vice President of Government Operations for RF Communications. He held management positions at RF Communications in government sales, international sales, operations and general management. He joined RF Communications in 1984 as an Electrical Engineer in the division's rotational management training program. He held positions of increasing responsibility in sales and marketing including Vice President of International Sales since 1995 and Vice President of Worldwide Marketing since 1996. Since 1999, he served as a Vice President/Managing Director of International Government Sales Operations at Harris Corporation's Regional Sales organization based in Melbourne, Florida. Mr. Mehnert returned to RF as Vice President of International Sales and Operations in 2002 and served as its Vice President of Defense Operations since 2003, Vice President and General Manager since 2004. He serves as a Member of the Air Force Association, the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association, the Navy League of the U.S., the National Defense Industrial Association, the Association of the United States Army and the Aerospace Industries Association. He graduated from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Applied Physics and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He received a Masters in Business Administration degree from the University of Rochester in 1991. Mr. Mehnert is a graduate of the Harvard Business School General Manager Program.
