Mr. Michael D. McKee, also known as Mike, J.D. has been an Executive Chairman of HCP, Inc. since May 9, 2016. Mr. McKee served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of HCP, Inc from July 18, 2016 to January 01, 2017. He served as an Interim Chief Executive Officer and Interim President of HCP, Inc since July 11, 2016. Mr. McKee served as the Chief Executive Officer at Bentall Kennedy (U.S.) Limited Partnership. He joined Bentall Kennedy (U.S.) Limited Partnership in 2011. Mr. McKee served as the Chief Executive Officer since June 2007, Chief Operating Officer from June 2001 to 2007, Chief Financial Officer from December 1994 to June 2001, Executive Vice President from December 1994 to July 1999, Chief Legal Officer from April 1994 to December 1997 and Vice Chairman from 1999 to September 2008 of The Irvine Company, LLC. Mr. McKee has been an Independent Director of First American Financial Corporation since March 15, 2011. He has been a Director of HCP, Inc. since 1989. Mr. McKee serves as an Executive Director of BKCM (U.S.) Limited Partnership. He serves as a Director of (IACLLC), Irvine Apartment Communities, LP, The Donald Bren Foundation and Circus Enterprises, Inc. Mr. McKee served as Non-Executive Chairman of HCP, Inc. from October 3, 2013 to May 9, 2016 and served as its Lead Director. He served as a Director of Mandalay Resort Group since 1996 and Irvine Apartment Communities, Inc. since January 1995. Mr. McKee also served as a Director of Irvine Apartment Communities LLC and Oasis Residential Inc. He holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of California-Los Angeles School of Law, a Master's Degree from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's Degree from Azusa Pacific University.
