Their goals are fairly clear.
The people at my specific site. Goal oriented and action-driven, we get our work done on time and well.
Better management decisions and behavior. When there was a series of layoffs, management arrived on site and tried to laugh it off. Very disappointing.
Our workforce is sparse and underpaid. We could use more technicians/interns and pay increases. General opinion at my site is that everyone is underpaid.
The work cohesion is excellent. Problem solving is a group activity and we generally come to an agreement and solution quickly once a problem is recognized.
The people involved with the interview process expressed what they were expecting from me and I had an accurate feeling of what I was getting into.
The people are friendly and help one another out. It feels much less dog eat dog compared to other working environments I've been in and heard about.
While slotted for a promotion, I've been qualified for that position for a while on top of exceeding the new job description. With that said, the compensation offered isn't close to the average in the industry let alone what I think I deserve seeing as I've received nothing but praise.
