Javier Idrovo — Chief Accounting Officer at Hershey Company

Mr. Javier H. Idrovo has been the Chief Accounting Officer of The Hershey Company since August 10, 2015 and served as its Senior Vice President of Finance & Planning since September 2011. Mr. Idrovo served as Senior Vice President of Strategy & Business Development at Hershey Co. since December 2, 2008. Mr. Idrovo was responsible for long-term strategic planning moving forward. He provided a strategic approach to Hershey's merger and acquisition activities. He also helped to create the framework for long-range financial and operational decision-making and identify the geographies and segments that are crucial for its global growth. He served as Senior Vice President of Strategy of Dole Food Company Inc. since July 2004. Mr. Idrovo served as President of Worldwide Packaged Foods at Dole Food Company Inc. since October 2005. He served as Chief Financial Officer of Worldwide Packaged Foods at Dole Food Company Inc. since 2005. He served as Vice President of Strategy at Ocean Smart, Inc. since 2001. He served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Dole Packaged Foods, one of the operating divisions of Dole Food Company since 2005. He served as President of Dole Packaged Foods from 2006 to March 2008, where he was responsible for developing its three-year strategic plan, setting growth and profitability targets and developing metrics to measure company performance. Prior to Dole, Mr. Idrovo served at The Boston Consulting Group, where he analyzed issues and implemented solutions related to business strategy and operational effectiveness for a number of clients in various industries. He served as Management Consultant of The Boston Consulting Group, Inc. holding positions of increasing responsibility from Associate Consultant to Manager. As a consultant, Mr. Idrovo worked for clients on projects that focused on strategy issues as well as organizational effectiveness issues across a number of industries including, but not limited to, Telecommunications, Retailing, Manufacturing and Financial Services. Mr. Idrovo has been a Director of Ocean Smart, Inc. since September 8, 2008. He received both a Bachelors of Science degree in 1989 and a Master of Engineering degree in 1990 from Harvey Mudd College. Mr. Idrovo also received a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School in 1995.
