What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are always willing to help if you ask. If you are struggling in an area they find custom solutions to help you meet your goals. I know i sound like a company rep but im not. I am very greatful to work at Hexcel. There are opportunities for growth if you work hard, and show them you deserve it.

Flexitime is nice to have
Stocks benifits are great and 401k like any decent employer would
Pension is generous and salary reasonably high
Insurance is pretty good. Having the employer match and stock options is a great inventive

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I would like it more if we didn’t have to fight tooth and nail over every additional penny. Didn’t have to fight to keep basic qualities of life, when so clearly the company can afford

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Coworkers do not work together as a team. Hexcel employees undesirable employees as it's hard to find hard working decent people for their type of manufacturing work.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
They really do help you if you ask. I live the integrity of the company. If there is a mistake, dont hide it, let your manager know and get help to fix the issue. They are only upset if your dont operate with integrity so just be honest and learn
Everybody is friendly and easy to work with. Makes the culture feel a bit like family at times
The ability to create the type of culture you want in the areas we are in. From our potlucks to hanging out with your coworkers outside of work too.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
They need to have more humble people in HR
More support and explanation to issues. Listen instead of ignoring with no follow through.
They need to treat us like humans, they expect us to work 12 hours, crazy rotating night and day shifts, and then the company seems to lose their minds when someone needs a day off. It’s unhealthy, there are too many studies showing the risks associated with this kind of shift wor

The fact that they check everything to make sure you are honest from the start
Professionalism and sets the tone for how to conduct yourself if hired.
Increase pay and take on more qualified people. Not just anyone that can fill out an application

Had to sit through too many rounds with people asking similar questions twice.
Limit the amount of people in the room to get a more feel for future employee and him or her opening up.
