Mr. Timothy Swords, also known as Tim, has been President of Industrial at Hexcel Corporation since May 2016. Mr. Swords served as Vice President and General Manager of Industrial at Hexcel Corp. from October 2012 to May 2016. He served as General Manager of Commercial Engines Marketing and Director of Strategic & Regional Marketing at GE Aviation. In addition, he spent several years with Honeywell Aerospace, where he served in several positions including Vice President of Technical Sales for Air Transport & Regional and Vice President of Sales, Marketing & Business Development for Engine Systems and Accessories. Early in his career, he was Communications Systems Engineer with AG Communications Systems and with the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab. He has a degree in electrical engineering from Pennsylvania State University, a degree in physics from California University of Pennsylvania and a graduate degree in electrical engineering from Arizona State University.
