Mr. Dennis Lee Brown has been Senior Vice President of Operations of HGST, Inc. since July 2012. Mr. Brown has more than 25 years of hard disk drive manufacturing and operations experience. He initially joined Hitachi Global Storage Technologies (HGST) as Vice President of Operations and General Manager in 2005. He subsequently left HGST in 2007 to served as Vice President of Operations for LUXIM Corporation, a startup company producing high-intensity, energy-efficient lighting. He rejoined HGST in July 2012. He initially developed his expertise in the hard disk drive industry during 20 years with Seagate Technology. Mr. Brown was Vice President of U.S. and Asia Operations for Seagate Technology a leading manufacturer of data storage devices for diverse applications and where he managed the expansion and construction of production facilities in the U.S. and Singapore. He served as Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Arizona Public Service Company, a subsidiary of Pinnacle West Capital Corp. since July 2001. Mr. Brown served as Director of Information Technology of Pinnacle West from October 1999 to June 2001 and Global Solution Executive for IBM Utilities and Energy Services of IBM.
