Renate Quigley — Senior Vice President of Sales Operations and HDD Product Marketing at HGST

Ms. Renate Quigley serves as Senior Vice President of Sales Operations and HDD Product Marketing of HGST, Inc. Ms. Quigley served as Senior Vice President of Supply Chain Management at HGST, Inc. Ms. Quigley has more than 25 years of management experience in the hard disk drive industry and is responsible for aligning the global supply chain with the HGST's immediate and strategic product requirements. Under her leadership, HGST is proactively anticipating changing product demands in an evolving storage solutions market while ensuring consistent product flow and cost effectiveness. The effectiveness of her management style, versatility and processes were especially proven following the natural disasters in Japan and Thailand that impacted the entire industry in 2011. Prior to becoming senior vice president and member of the executive team of HGST in 2012, she served as Vice President of Supply Chain Management. She joined Hitachi Global Storage Technologies (Hitachi GST) in 2009 and her efforts to centralize and standardize capacity planning processes quickly heightened its efficiency and dramatically reduced cycle times. Previously with Western Digital for 20 years, she advanced through a range of positions of increasing responsibility. First joining WD Germany in Customer Service, she progressed into senior manager and director positions in accounts management, revenue management, production control and industrial engineering. She served as Vice President of WD Germany since 2003 and moved from responsibility for Asia Materials to Cost Optimization and, finally, Media Operations. From 2005 to 2006, she managed the construction of a major manufacturing facility in Thailand. As Vice President of Media Operations, she was responsible for the overall integration of the Komag organization with WD. She holds a BS degree in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles.
