Mr. Toshiaki Kuzuoka has been a Senior Vice President and Executive Officer of Hitachi, Ltd. since April 1, 2011 and April 2007 respectively and also serves as Representative Executive Officer. Mr. Kuzuoka serves as General Counsel, Head of Corporate Communications, Head of Risk Management, General Manager of Legal & Communications Group and General Manager of Risk Management Group at Hitachi Ltd. since October 1, 2013. He has been Executive Officer of Hitachi, Ltd. since April 1, 2009. He serves as General Manager of Corporate Hospital Group at Hitachi, Ltd. Mr. Kuzuoka served as a General Manager of Legal & Communications Group & Compliance Division, Executive Officer of Human Capital, Government & External Relations & Corporate Auditing, Hitachi Group Chief Compliance Officer and Deputy General Manager of Hitachi Group Headquarters for Post-Earthquake Reconstruction & Redevelopment for Smart Transformation Project Initiatives Division of Hitachi, Ltd. until April 2014. He served as a Vice President of Hitachi, Ltd. from April 1, 2007 to April 1, 2011. He served as Deputy General Manager of Compliance Division of Hitachi, Ltd., since April 1, 2007 and also served as its General Manager of Legal Division since April 2001. Mr. Kuzuoka served as an External Director of Hitachi Capital Corporation since June 2010 until June 30, 2016.
